Healthtech is a Canadian healthcare consulting firm with a growing international presence, delivering services across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. We help healthcare organizations plan, implement, and optimize complex EHR and ERP programs through an integrated approach that combines clinical expertise, strategic advisory, and hands-on delivery.
What sets us apart is our ability to bridge clinical, operational, and technical domains, bringing together consultants, clinicians, operators, and implementation leaders who understand how healthcare systems function in practice. We move beyond strategy into execution, ensuring solutions are adopted, embedded, and deliver measurable value, while helping healthcare leaders drive meaningful, sustainable improvements in patient care and organizational performance.
Healthtech was founded by Susanne Flett in 1983 and has grown into a leading Canadian healthcare consulting firm. From our roots in Toronto, we have spent more than 40 years helping healthcare organizations across Canada use technology to improve patient care and operational performance.
We have evolved from a boutique consultancy into a national partner supporting complex healthcare transformation across the Canadian healthcare system, with additional experience in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe.
In 2019, we further strengthened our capabilities and U.S. relationships through our partnership with our parent company, Nordic, a top-rated healthcare consulting firm based in Madison, Wisconsin.
Today, we remain proudly Canadian, with deep expertise in Canada’s healthcare landscape. We work alongside our clients to align people, processes, and technology, create lasting value, and improve patient outcomes.
Over the years, we’ve worked with hundreds of organizations to deliver improved outcomes. As a result, we’ve honed our methodologies, tailored our strategic recommendations, and championed a clinician-led approach to technology implementation. We know how to remove barriers.
Our in-house teams of clinicians, health system managers, and information specialists know healthcare and understand the complex landscape you’re trying to navigate in Canada and the U.S. No matter the challenges you face, we’re the partner who will move you forward.
“We’ve been really fortunate we’ve had some great consultants with Healthtech who’ve been on this journey with us. I consider a lot of these people my friends now, and we still call each other when we need advice. I look forward to working with them on future initiatives.”
