Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations – SAHO
- Shared Services
Healthtech successfully worked with the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations (SAHO), on behalf of the Shared Services Office, with significant support from the Council of Health Chief Executive Officers to provide the following services:
- Conduct current state assessment, in-scope services confirmation, feasibility study of alternate service delivery models;
- Business case development for in-scope services, detailed current state services and service levels, a standardized financial and economic model, short- and long-term opportunity identifications, documentation, recommendations with clear definition of future and desired end-state services;
- Shared services plan and model, comprehensive project plan with project charter and financial estimates, organizational structure and operational service model, management processes, governance; and
- Implementation plan, effective implementation roadmap that supports building the shared services credibility, communication and change management plan, action plan and organizational readiness assessment conducted.
The project involved extensive stakeholder engagement, working with several Subject matter Expert Groups with representation from all Regional Health Authorities, the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, Ministry of Health and Saskatchewan Health Information Network, all under the direction of the Project Steering Committee.
The project has enabled Saskatchewan to identify the first phase of solution deployment, and Healthtech has been retained to support the assessment of options for Finance, HR and supply chain solutions. This work will lead to Province wide solution deployment for these and additional back office functions.
