Description

We are looking for experienced individuals to join our network of associates, who have a background and passion for eHealth, want to work in fast-paced environments, are team players with initiative, and come from clinical, nursing, and medication management environments.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide consulting and advisory services to the eHealth sector.
  • Work with and support clinical project teams.
  • Comprehend and understand clinical processes and redesign.
  • Provide support and coordination for stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Provide support to teams working in shared IT services, privacy, telehealth, clinical systems deployment, change management, etc.
  • Apply Healthtech Project Management Office (PMO) functions and methodologies under the direction of Project Leads.
 

Qualifications and Skills Requirements

Skills

  • Over fifteen years experience in healthcare environment.
  • Some work experience in an acute care environment would be an asset.
  • Experience with either Cerner or Allscripts with a technology implementation & support perspective.
  • Experience configuring one of the following modules of a Hospital Information System:
    CPOE;
    Nursing Documentation; and
    Medication Management (and bedside workflows).
  • Good understanding of clinical processes and redesign.
  • Good analytical, research, and methodological skills.
  • Familiar with change management philosophies and techniques.
  • Familiarity with PMO tools / methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours and to travel.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications

  • Degree required
  • Clinical designation such as RN, RPN.
  • Change management specialty (nice to have).
  • LEAN skills (nice to have).
Travel Requirements

This is a consulting role requiring the ability and flexibility to travel across Canada and parts of the United States including extended over-night trips.  Durations of travel would depend upon the type of projects and assignments. On-site assignments and engagements could vary from a few days or weeks, to a few months, with possibilities of extensions.
