Terri LeFort

President, Nordic International

Terri LeFort joined Nordic in 2019, when it acquired Healthtech Consultants.  After continuing to service as president of Healthtech for three additional years, Terri took on an expanded role as Nordic’s president and senior executive, International.  In this role, the 30-year healthcare veteran sets policy and strategic direction for Nordic’s international markets, ensuring close coordination with the U.S. and fulfilling the company’s mission and financial targets internationally.  She also ensures integration and standardization across the geographies, bolstering Nordic’s efforts as global leader that addresses the local needs of regional geographies.

Prior to joining Nordic, Terri lead Healthtech for 20 years, guiding healthcare organization through successful patient safety and clinician adoption initiatives.  She has significant experience in clinical systems assessment, planning, and implementation, along with CPOE and electronic medication management.  She also boasts decades of clinical practice, both on the front lines and in management, has spoken internationally on electronic clinical documentation best practices, and is an industry leader in advanced clinical system planning and implementation.

Alison MacDonald

Vice President, Implementation & Support Epic/Meditech Practices

Alison leads the MEDITECH, and Epic implementation team focused on successfully implementing electronic health records with all types of organizations across Canada. Her team leverages our vendor-agnostic approach to enabling organizations to elevate their experience with EHR implementation.

Alison is a Masters-prepared nurse with 20 years of leadership experience in informatics and clinical practice in the community, acute and tertiary care settings.  As a certified professional in Health Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS-CA) and Prosci certified change management professional, she is a skilled executive leader facilitating numerous strategic successful client engagements.  Alison joined Healthtech in 2014 and has extensive experience supporting the successful adoption and implementation of large-scale health information systems. She is focused on supporting using technology to enable clinical transformation and improved patient outcomes.

Christine Grimm

Vice President, Strategic Advisory Services & Digital Health

Christine has extensive health care experience in strategy development, planning, implementation, optimization, and benefits realization. She is a systems thinker with an in-depth understanding of the Canadian health ecosystem, emerging trends in digital health, leading practices, and health innovation.

Christine is a leader of transformational change using data and analytics to enable rapid value delivery, actionable insights, and evidence-informed decisions. She leads health system planning, policy, performance, and population health improvements using data, analytics and a privacy-by-design approach.

Laura Copeland, MD, MBD, FACEP

Chief Medical Information Officer

Dr. Laura Copeland is an Emergency Physician practicing Medical Psychotherapy, a certified change facilitator, and a medical informatics specialist.  She has 18 years of experience planning and implementing electronic solutions, while advocating for and supporting the adoption of technology in healthcare. 

Dr. Copeland has assumed key leadership roles in many complex hospital-based health information systems across Canada and the United States. She is a proven leader in clinical standardization, change leadership, governance, strategic planning, and innovative solutioning. Dr. Copeland’s dream job is to mentor colleagues learning to be informatics specialists, sleuth out root causes, create networks for sharing best practices, and leverage her experience and clinical background to inspire change and happiness within organizations.

Liz Nemeth

Vice President, Business Development Implementation & Support Cerner Practice

Elizabeth is a Registered Nurse and over her 35-year career, has held various positions from front-line nursing to senior/executive.  Her level of expertise spans rural/urban, teaching hospitals, and integrated regional healthcare systems. Her results-oriented leadership style and proven talent for leading through change are supported by her innovative problem-solving and consensus-building skills. 

Elizabeth has in-depth knowledge of clinical standards, practice, change management, benefits realization, and the transformation journey to a fully integrated electronic system that supports clinicians.

Since joining Healthtech in 2006, she has held several key leadership roles in a wide variety of large and small-scale as well as jurisdictional projects across the healthcare sector in Canada.  She has significant consulting experience in advisory services, implementation,  business development, project and vendor management, governance, consensus building, current state assessments, process redesign, and clinical adoption.  She has a proven track record for developing effective and long-lasting relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
